How it all started
In August 2025, my request for flexible working was denied - a moment that quietly changed everything. I found myself torn between two deep needs: to be present for my baby while she was still so young, and to hold onto my sense of self beyond motherhood.
I chose to see it as a sign. I left my job and stepped into self-employment, creating space to build a life that felt more aligned.
Since graduating in 2020 with an MA in Fashion Design, I had always dreamed of starting my own brand, but nothing ever truly clicked - until one small, defining moment shifted my perspective and sparked something new.
That moment became the beginning of everything.
It started with a single piece. I made a pair of ruffle-hem trousers for my daughter from an old shirt and, on a whim, listed them online. They sold within an hour - and that small spark quickly grew into something more.
Now, I create handmade children’s trousers that are colourful, playful, and full of personality - from checks and gingham to stripes and ric-rac trims. Each piece is one of a kind, designed to feel special and entirely its own.
Having already sold over 40 pairs, it means so much to see people connecting with something I’ve poured my heart into.
This is just the beginning, and I’m so excited to see where this journey leads — one handmade pair of trousers at a time.
